Welcome to my blog! I am a dietetics student and cross country/track athlete at Miami University. This fall I will be entering my senior year and my passion for inspiring others to live their best life possible is stronger than ever. As a division I athlete, I am always looking for ways to improve my performance through the food I eat and the lifestyle I live. I will be testing the best recipes for athletes from multiple sources this summer, as well as experimenting with original recipes of my own! Look out for step-by-step directions, photos, and videos as I explore the wide world of REAL and DELICIOUS food! I am focused on using whole, plant-based foods coming directly from nature rather than the processed options many people choose on a daily basis. My recipes will be low in sugar and saturated fat and will feature plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, fat-free dairy, whole grains, and lean protein sources such as nuts, seeds, and legumes. My mission is to show athletes that healthy food can taste great while dramatically changing the way they feel and the level at which they can compete!
